The company is led by Kobi Kurtz, an experienced industry professional and former R&D manager in the Israeli and US high-tech industries. Our diverse, international team is highly motivated and committed to achieving the best results for our clients regardless of the challenge or specific industry.
Owner – Director
Kobi is the director of Kurtz Marketing & Management which he founded in 1992 after obtaining his MBA from the RSM (Erasmus University Rotterdam). Previously, Kobi obtained his Electrical Engineering degree from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
He has a background as an R&D manager in the high-tech industry in Israel and the USA. In areas such as navigation systems and digital printing. With his roots in Israel, Kobi brings decades of experience in developing successful partnerships between the high-tech industries and academia in Israel and Europe.
Kobi is also the chairman of Technion Netherlands, a non-profit foundation promoting and supporting cooperation between the Technion Israel Institute of Technology and leading Dutch universities. He is also an active member of the Board of Governors of the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
Bert van der Heide
Business Development Manager / Senior Consultant
Bert holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from the RSM (Erasmus University Rotterdam).He joined Kurtz Marketing & Management in 2003 and has been involved as a senior consultant and manager on many projects in Europe, Israel, Russia and the USA.
Bert is experienced in consulting international companies on technology and innovation related topics, as well assisting companies to enter new markets, by identifying strategic partners and key-customers.
He has also been involved in various governmental programs related to high-tech cluster development as well as export promotion. Accredited by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Bert is actively consulting and coaching ambitious start up’s and their founders.
Project Manager / Business Development Consultant
Migle Damaskaite holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics and Business (ESE, Erasmus University Rotterdam).
She joined Kurtz Marketing & Management after gaining some experience in managing large-scale projects within some multinationals and after receiving her Master’s Degree.
Migle has been working on a variety of projects such as technology scouting, market penetration and regional development in the Netherlands, Germany and other European countries, as well in Israel, US and Kazakhstan. Her well – mannered tenacity is an asset to our clients in achieving their challenging goals.
